I miss the old Tori Amos so much, I had to make this :( Lyrics are from “Hotel”.
I understand how you feel, but there’s no such thing as “Old” and “new” Tori. I love how free spirited she was during Little Earthquakes or her honest ways of her Pele days. She’s a 48 year woman with a family, now. Her music is still fantastic but you just have to look closer to uncover the meaning than during the early 90’s. As a middle aged woman in the music industry, of course Tori is going to put more makeup on, too. Tori has grown, but she is still the same remarkable woman.
Agreed, BUT… I still favor the Tori that was Scarlet’s Walk and earlier. :) Can’t judge me for having a favorite era, right?
